Transformers 2 Superbowl Trailer

It's official now: the first movie trailer of Transformers 2, aka Transformers Revenge of the Fallen will air during the Superbowl 2009, on February 1, 2009!

I doubt it will be a full length Transformers 2 movie trailer, most probably a teaser, but hell, this news make my day! I'm going to count the day till the Super Bowl 2009. And I will enjoy every second of this Superbowl trailer of Transformers 2 when it will air!

This new Transformers movie is really international, with scenes taking place in the USA with important scenes in New Mexico, but also in China (but the Chinese part was filmed on an American set), Egypt (they did go the real pyramids) and much more!

This clip was taken on Shoreline Ave, in Long Beach, Ca.
it doesn't seem that there was any serious filming going on here, but Michael Bay's Porsche Cayenne W camera rig was following the autobot cars to maybe get some b-roll footage. Here are some of the cars identified in this clip: Concept Centennial Corvette (Silver), Chevy Camaro (Bumblebee in yellow), Optimus Prime (flamed truck), chevrolet beats (orange), Chevy Trax (green), GMC Dropkick c4500(Ironhide))

Transformers 2 Clip Bumblebee

I just spotted that some lucky guy (zacklur) who lives down the street from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia managed to film a scene of Transformers 2 in the making last June.

The Transformers 2 clip features Bumblebee, in its alt mode as a 2010 Camaro SS, drifting to park in front of a building entrance:

Would Michael Bay be bold enough to put Tokyo Drift by Teriayaki Boyz as soundtrack in Transformers 2 when Bumblebee is going to drift?

Or maybe it should find its own original song. But the soundtrack of the first Transformers movie was rather weak... Hope they will chose better for the soundtrack of Transformers 2!
